iCORE - GHANA MISSION FIELD

iCore entered into Ghana through a meeting with Dr. Assiongbonvi Ayite in March 2017. It was simply a marriage of vision as Dr. Ayite was already pushing passionately to reach the French speaking rural communities. A regular, monthly fellowship immediately was put in place and Dr. Ayite gave leadership to this fellowship which met for prayers and disciple making training so the people could effectively reach their rural communities.

Dr. Ayite have made several entries into many rural communities since then. The last one was at Miagzina community where there was a strong appeal by the people that a training center should be opened for the believers in the community. He has the passion to see these rural communities saturated with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with leaders raised who have been well equipped to carry the mandate and raise disciple makers. Dr. Ayite’s labours and sacrifices through iCORE are yielding results to the glory of God.

Bible School Training

In other to have effective leaders, a Bible School is being raised from a previous short term training center in Elmina, Cape Coast, to train leaders for these rural communities. The students are enthusiastic as they learn how to evangelize and disciple their people. Within this short while, sixty four people have been turned out and are now pursuing a credited training.

We are greatly indebted to Dr. Ayite for his commitment to the project. He is truly convinced that iCORE is doing a great work to make a difference in the rural areas. His determination to reach the unreached in the rural communities is leading him to explore a possible opening in Togo. We owe this man our prayers and support. We also need to pray for the monthly fellowship in Ghana that God will strengthen them and make provisions for their endeavors. .
