Standing Unashamed

Our commitment to Leadership Development aims to eradicate illiteracy and mediocrity from the pulpit. Every May, we bring ministers and church workers together since 2011 for a time of worship and skill development in Biblical interpretation and Biblical preaching. The objective being that at the end of the training, a pastor would have known the basic principles of exegesis, understand the process of sermon preparation and involve practically in the art of sermon delivery, pulpit management and Ethics.

ICORE has confirmed over the years that a great number of sermons we listen to from our pulpits, over the radio and on the television are not good for souls of men. As we come together for Standing Unashamed, we seek to realize for the preacher a shinny

face before his audience born out of confidence that what he gave out was not only a sermon, but a message from God sermonized through proper research, preparation and faithful delivery; with a rested heart before God being a function of truth preached and the pleasure of the father served.

One important feature of Standing Unashamed is the session called “the theatre” - Where participants preach and sit back to hear others critique, observation and a total examination of the truth presented and the manner of its presentation. We blush the shame, take the blame and set the stage to meet the public ‘Unashamed”. If you attend once, you won’t like to miss once.

Join us May 14-18, 2018 for Standing Unashamed at ICORE Resource center, Ikot Ukang, Ika L. G. A., Akwa Ibom State.
